Ambelah Designs is a small Event Design & Floral company that started in 2018. There is a deeply rooted passion for florals with a backing of 11 years of experience from the owner and lead designer, Athalia Salinas. In the process of expansion we are looking for individuals that have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a drive to perform with excellence.

JOB TITLE: CONSULTANT

SCHEDULE:

Work at your own pace. Contingent to: Client Connections including: phone calls, emails and in-person meetings. Team Meetings (Most likely on a Tuesday) and Set Wedding/Event Dates (Weekends only).

JOB SUMMARY:

Your main job is to create a relationship with our clients. You will be the face and voice of Ambelah Designs and you will need to embody our values and persona with every interaction. You will act as a buffer between the main designer, the client and other vendors.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a bridal consultant you will be in charge of setting up client meetings, doing intakes and consulting clients as they make selections for their wedding. You will be in charge of making sure all of our clients understand our approach and understand the process.

 Your main duties will include:

-Setting up meetings

-Fill Client Intakes

-Consulting

-Assist in Preparing Mood Boards

-Receive Payments

-Do Follow-Ups 

-Build Client Relations

-Network Within the Industry

-Seek New Clients

-Set-up and Attend Bridal Shows/Fairs

-Day of Wedding: Attend. Make sure everything that what you and your client envisioned is in place. Visit with the clients and ensure their comfort. 

TRAINING:

You do not need to have prior experience with event design or floral design. We are looking for someone that is great with people and has a positive attitude. An attentive listener and an engaging talker. 

 In your training you will learn:

-Our Method

-Steps to executing a wedding from start to finish

-How to open a file

-What to ask clients

-How to utilize resources

-How to assist in creating a mood board 

 

JOB TITLE: DELIVERY DRIVER

SCHEDULE:

Part-Time/Full-Time Employment. Tuesday-Saturday.

 Event Coordinator - Team Oversight 

JOB SUMMARY:

 As the delivery driver you are on the road promoting Ambelah. Not only are you taking flowers, materials and supplies from point A to point B, you are delivering a service.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The delivery driver has an important and vital role on our team. Without them we wouldn’t be able to get things from our studio to our destination.

Your main duties will include:

-Picking up flowers, materials, decor items.

-Delivery/Driving

-Unloading 

-Heavy lifting

-Setting up structural elements of design

-Tearing down

-Closing Out Delivery

JOB TITLE: EVENT COORDINATOR

JOB SUMMARY:

An event Coordinator handles the logistics of a wedding or event.  They are an extension to the consultant in making sure that the vision of each event is carried through and executed with excellence. They work together with the consultant, team manager and other vendors to ensure that everything and everyone is in place. Their main job is to keep the timelines and flow of a wedding or event at the forefront of the planning process.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Your main duties include:

-Coordinating the timelines of a wedding or event with:

1.) Consultant 

2.) Venue

3.) Team Oversight 

-Keeping track of expenses and client budgets.

-Coordinating team schedules around event preparation.

-Coordinating preperation for weddings/events.

-Conifirming all vendor contracts.

-Being on-site the day of the event and ensuring timely execution and logistics.

-Ensuring safety, liability and well being of our employees for each event.

JOB TITLE: EVENT STYLIST

JOB SUMMARY:

Creativity is a must! You should be able to have that eye for design. Colors, textiles, finishes and elements are all part of your vocabulary. As an event stylist you are dressing a wedding or event. Your ability to carry out design is what will set an average wedding apart from a fabulous one.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Your main job is to constantly be thinking of ways to take a wedding or event to the next level through the art of design. 

Your duties include

-Designing a wedding.

-Providing guidance to each client at the mood board meeting and presentation.

-Venue walkthrough/ presentation

-Creating blueprints of the layout

JOB TITLE: FASHION STYLIST

Works closely with: Event Stylist, Team Oversight.

JOB SUMMARY:

You will be our in-house fashion stylist. We want everyone on our team that comes in contact with our clients to look their best. Keeping with the trends and accentuating personal style. Not only will you work with team members but you will also have the opportunity to work hands-on with our clients. Understanding their personal style choices helps us personalize their event(s).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be working with team leads and clients. Many of our clients are couples that are getting married. Aside from their wedding, they have a lot of pre-nuptial events that require them to be well dressed. (Example: Engagement photos, engagement party, bridal shower(s), rehearsals, wedding weekends). 

Your main duties include:

-Work with team leads to select a capsule wardrobe for when meeting with clients, attending weddings and other events.

-Assist in the selection of shoes, other accessories and hairstyles for both team leads and clients

-You may need to assist a bride in the selection of her wedding gown(s). Along with the selection of the bridesmaids dresses.

-You may need to assist in the selection of tuxedos, suits, etc.

-You may also style promotional photo shoots, styled shoots, engagement photos, pregnancy announcement photos, baby photos, family photos, etc.

JOB TITLE: FLORAL DESIGN OVERSIGHT

JOB SUMMARY:

As floral design oversight you must have a background in floral design. Understanding the mechanics of floral design as well as the proper care and handling of flowers and foliage. You must also have knowledge about formulas, color usage and knowledge of what is in season and general pricing.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Your main job is to oversee the floral design team.  You will work with the consultant and event stylist to come up with a design for each wedding or event. 

Your main duties include:

-Assisting the event stylist in the selection of flowers and foliage for a wedding or event according to season, style and price.

-Formulating and pre-ordering flowers, foliage, and  materials for a wedding or event.

-Training new florists.

-Placing the right amount of team members and florists on a job.
