THE APPROACH 

Our A LA CARTE option is perfect if you are looking to have beautiful, fresh flowers at your wedding without all the fuss.

We simplify the process by skipping the formalities of several consultations, back and forth quotes and endless flower options. 

We ask our couples not to worry about so many details, but to have a few things in mind before ordering their flowers. 

THE STYLE

We specialize in garden-inspired florals. This style is very romantic, organic, natural and free flowing. However, there are a few looks that branch off of that style and your selection can help set us in the right direction.

CLASSIC 

This is our signature style. Again, very organic and natural looking. The pieces we create with this style have lots of movement and texture. Expect the usage of delicate vines and big romantic blooms. Bouquet styles often used: oval, heart-shaped, crescent and round.

CLEAN

The clean look takes our signature style and gives it a more compact and structured aesthetic. This look is more rounded off with flowers and foliage tucked in close to one another. Bouquet styles often used: round and oval. 

UNSTRUCTURED 

With this look there is lots of movement and texture. Pieces we create with this style tend to be more asymmetrical and airy. Expect the usage of branches and willows. Bouquet styles often used: asymmetrical cascade, cascade, crescent.

THE FLOWERS 

It’s your wedding, and you want the best and the freshest! We source our flowers from local growers and vendors in order to provide that. However, that means that flower options aren’t endless. We select flowers (and greenery) based on whatever looks stellar that week (yes, the week of your wedding!) That leaves another less thing for you to worry about. But do feel free to let us know what your favorite flowers are and which ones your not too crazy about so we can do our best to accommodate our selection.

At Ambelah we tend to use a lot of roses, garden roses, dahlias, ranunculas, lisianthis, and we love our pods (scabiosa, lotus, poppy, any). And if the HG of wedding flowers...PEONIES are available, we’ll use those too!

We tend to stay away from Hydrangea (hot outdoor weddings are not their friend), stargazer lilies, and carnations  (although some varieties are not that bad) 

THE COLOR PALLETE 

We base our flower selection not only on what looks good but also the color pallete of your selection. If you already know the colors you have in mind, great! Let us know. But if you need a little help, we can guide you.

THE ELEMENTS

The elements are important in tying everything together. This is what makes your wedding unique. What are the elements exactly? Any touches that you would like to have, if your having a rustic wedding perhaps you’d have wooden touches. If your having a glamorous wedding perhaps gold, silver or even glass. If your having a modern, urban wedding perhaps it would be mixed metals or geometric shapes that would make your wedding unique. Knowing this will help us get an idea of the types of vases or containers we could use for your wedding. We’ll send you a few options to choose from after our initial consultation.

THE PROCESS 

If you have decided that we are your wedding florist, please contact us through our contact page. You can be as thorough or as vague as you would like to be in your message. But please do let us know the date of your wedding to ensure availability. We’ll get back to you in 24-72 hours. We’ll set up a date and time to have a quick phone consultation. Over the phone we will discuss your options. Let us know the items you will need, the style you want, the color pallete of your choice and the elements your looking to have. We’ll send you the element options shortly after our consultation along with an order.

Payment

Once we have our telephone consultation we can construct your order and give you an accurate quote. If you would like to hold your date, we ask for a 10% (non-refundable) deposit.  This amount goes towards your order. Our minimum order for A La Carte is $500.  The full amount of your order is to be paid 1 month prior to your event.  If the full amount is not paid by the deadline the order will be cancelled.

Last minute...

With no guarantee, it may be possible that we can accept a last minute order with no less than 5 days notice.  So, don't hesitate...reach out as soon as you can. You know what they say, the sooner the better.

Cancellations

Sometimes the unexpected happens.  You may cancel your event no later than 7 days prior to receive a 50% refund.

Any orders cancelled two weeks prior will be refunded any amount given aside from the 10% deposit. If your non-refundable deposit exceeds $1,000 you will be refunded the difference.

Any orders cancelled within 7 days prior to the event are non-refundable.
